We’re the linguistics club at Montgomery Blair HS, Silver Spring, MD. The club was founded in 2011, primarily as a preparation for NACLO. Since then, we’ve expanded our scope dramatically. Composed of ~20 people, we hear a variety of student and guest lectures on all kinds of topics, ranging from theoretical syntax to psycholinguistics to computational phonology. We’ve hosted guest speakers from theĀ University of Maryland (UMD), Georgetown University, and private companies, and have visited the Linguistics Department at UMD.
Please feel free to stop by any Wednesday (see Schedule for more details), contact us hereĀ for more information, or join our mailing list here.
